After years of anticipation, Linkin Park is back with a new lineup and a fresh start. The band, now composed of original members Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Phoenix, and Joe Hahn, along with two new additions, is embarking on a new era of music.

Their announcement comes alongside the reveal of a six-date arena tour titled "From Zero," with performances scheduled in major cities like Los Angeles, New York, Hamburg, London, Seoul, and Bogotá. Fans of the band can expect a revitalized sound that remains true to Linkin Park’s signature style, yet promises a dynamic and energized evolution.

In a surprise performance, Linkin Park reunited for the first time in years, playing a special show for ticketed fans in Los Angeles. Fans were transported to a private studio lot, where the event was live streamed and will be available to view on the band’s official online channels for 24 hours. This marks the beginning of what promises to be an exciting new chapter for the group, which has quietly been working on new material in recent years.

The Evolution of Linkin Park

The journey back to the stage wasn’t rushed. According to a press release, the founding members began reuniting in recent years, not to "restart the band," but to explore new creative directions with fellow musicians.

The band found a strong connection with new members Armstrong and Brittain, leading to this new era. Reflecting on the group’s evolution, Mike Shinoda shared, “Before Linkin Park, our first band name was Xero. This album title refers to both this humble beginning and the journey we’re currently undertaking.”

Their upcoming album, “The Emptiness Machine,” channels the essence of Linkin Park’s sound while also exploring new sonic landscapes.

Shinoda emphasized the fresh energy of the group, saying the band feels “empowered” by the new lineup and the vibrant music they’ve created together. This mix of nostalgia and innovation promises to captivate longtime fans while appealing to new listeners.

Tour and Album Details

Pre-sale tickets for the highly anticipated “From Zero” tour will be available exclusively for members of the LP Underground fan club starting on September 6,

with general ticket sales opening the following day on September 7.

This tour announcement follows the release of "Papercuts (Singles Collection 2000-2023)," a compilation album that revisits the band’s greatest hits. Featuring chart-toppers like

“In the End,” “Numb/Encore” with Jay-Z, and the recent hit “Lost,”

the collection reignited the popularity of “Meteora,” bringing it back into the top 10 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Conclusion

Linkin Park’s return marks not just a reunion, but a reawakening of the band's legacy. With new members, a fresh sound, and an exciting tour on the horizon, fans can expect an unforgettable experience.

The band’s passion for creating meaningful music remains as strong as ever, and their future is as promising as their past. For those who’ve followed Linkin Park from their early days to now, this new chapter is both a nostalgic nod and a thrilling leap forward.
